, a natural and organic foods retailer, said Friday that it will stop selling live lobsters effective immediately as the company considers it inhumane.

The company will also stop selling live soft shell crabs. For the time being, it will only sell frozen raw and cooked lobster products from suppliers meeting specific quality standards for humane treatment, handling and processing, it said.
