NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Wal-Mart (WMT) - Get Report is recalling 2.2 million electric heaters due to risks of fire and burns.

The heaters being recalled are the Flow Pro, Airtech, Aloha Breeze and Comfort Essentials. They're all grey, 1,500-watt heaters.

The heaters all have a metal handle at the top with vents and grey control knobs on the front.

The model number is "1013," which can be found on a label at the lower left corner of the back panel of the heater.

The heaters were exclusively sold at Wal-Mart stores nationwide from Dec. 2001 through Oct. 2009 for about $18.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says Wal-Mart has received 21 complaints about fire hazards. Eleven of the reports referred to property damage beyond the heater. Four spoke of injuries, some of which required medical attention for minor burns and smoke inhalation.

Regardless, shares of Wal-Mart finished up 0.7% to $54.63 on the day.
