Ride sharing company Uber is ending its service in Denmark after only beginning to offer rides in the country in 2014. The decision to exit Denmark was the result of a new taxi law that sets certain rules for drivers.

"For us to operate in Denmark again the proposed regulations need to change. We will continue to work with the government in the hope that they will update their proposed regulations and enable Danes to enjoy the benefits of modern technologies like Uber," the company said, according to Reuters.
