James Cowan, the president and chief operating officer of
, has resigned from his position.
Maverick, a maker of tubular products used in the energy industry and industrial applications, said C. Robert Bunch, the company's chief executive, will assume the title of president.
The St. Louis-based company doesn't have any plans to fill the position of chief operating officer.
Cowan, 47, was with the company for nearly two-and-a-half years. Shares of Maverick were down 20 cents to $31.60 Tuesday.
