, supplier of RF front-end modules and components for wireless handsets and networks, will officially rebrand its Orlando, Fla.-based Sawtek operations Friday as TriQuint Semiconductor.
The former Sawtek operations represent one of three major TriQuint locations in the U.S., the Hillsboro, Ore.-based company said.
Sawtek merged with the parent company in 2001 as part of a global TriQuint strategy to offer customers a complete range of radio frequency modules and components.
The company's shares were trading up nine cents, or 1.7%, at $5.24 Friday
