is recalling about 9,400 2010 Lexus GX 460 sports utility vehicles after
deemed a "don't buy."
In a written statement, Toyota said it's issuing the recall to update software in the vehicles' stability control systems, which help control loss of traction during turns due to front- or rear-wheel slippage. Toyota said its engineers have looked into the concerns raised by
and are "confident" the software update will address these worries.

Toyota said it expects all its Lexus dealers to have the software updated by the end of April. Last week, the automaker asked its dealers to temporarily suspend sales of the vehicles after
complained of a safety risk
involving loss of traction at the rear of the GX 460.
