will report a narrower-than-expected first-half operating loss next week as sales have recovered and the yen has weakened, a report says.
Japan's business daily newspaper
reports Toyota is expected to post an operating loss of 250 billion yen ($2.77 billion) for the April to September period as compared with a previously projected loss of 400 billion yen. First-half sales are estimated to stand at 8.3 trillion yen, exceeding an earlier forecast by about 500 billion yen.
Toyota is scheduled to announce results on Nov. 5.
