Time Inc. Buys Golf.com

The company adds to its huge golf publication portfolio.

Time Warner's (TWX) magazine unit bought a golfing Web site.

Terms weren't disclosed, but New York-based Time Inc. said it bought golf.com from a consortium including the site's founders, NBC Universal,
