Widely held tech stocks followed the broader market down Thursday, with
among the biggest losers.
Shares of Hewlett-Packard were falling 7.9% to $31.39 Thursday after the company reported
profit for its first quarter.
Fellow computer makers
also suffered, falling 6.1% to $8.12 and 4.0% to $90.64, respectively.
Among other tech stocks:
Palm fell 3.5% to $7.36.
Google fell 3% to $342.64.
Microsoft dipped 1.2% to $17.91.
Yahoo! fell 2% to $11.98.
