Sears is closing more stores.

Dying Sears is about to get even smaller.

Sears Holding Corp. (SHLD) said Thursday it will close 100 more stores following a dreadful first quarter that saw it lose $3.93 a share. Earlier this month, Sears said it would close about 42 stores on top of the 160 plus it previously planned to shutter this year.

The company ended the first quarter with 894 combined Sears and Kmart stores, down from 1,275 a year ago.
