to be chief executive officer of the retailer's department store group. He will also serve on the Saks board of directors.

Jones was president of Warner Brothers Worldwide Licensing and Studio Stores, divisions that generated more than $7 billion in annual worldwide revenue.

Jones is replacing Bob Mosco, whose title was president of merchandizing and chief operating officer. Mosco left Saks in August.
