NEW YORK (
) -- Ryan Seacrest has signed a new three-year deal with
Clear Channel Communications
through which he will continue to produce and host three major radio programs broadcast in Los Angeles and New York.
While the company did not reveal the financial terms of the deal, sources close to the matter claim that Seacrest agreed to $60 million for the three years.
Under the agreement, Seacrest will serve as a spokesperson for Clear Channel. He will be responsible for creating new content that will be distributed through Clear Channel's traditional and digital radio platforms in local and national markets.
"Ryan exemplifies the level of talent and programming we are committed to bringing our listeners across a variety of platforms," Clear Channel president and CEO John Hogan said. "His experience and track record as a host and a producer and his extensive industry relationships make Ryan an ideal partner for the development of new vehicles as we drive growth opportunities across all of our radio platforms, on air, online and on-site."
Seacrest will continue to host the
American Top 40
On Air with Ryan Seacrest
on Clear Channel's KIIS-FM morning show in Los Angeles and Z100 in New York.
