Bedford, Mass.-based RSA will integrate Verid's knowledge-based authentication technology into the RSA adaptive authentication platform.
"The RSA Adaptive Authentication solution is designed to meet the needs of various consumer segments as well as the different business requirements in the financial industry. Verid's knowledge-based authentication is another great addition to our mix of secure and user-friendly technologies," the company said.
RSA's shares were higer by 5 cents, or 0.2%, at $27.96 in recent trading Friday.
