Retired General Joins SRA Board

, a provider of technology and strategic consulting services and products to the federal government and health care markets, said Wednesday that retired U.S. Army General Larry R. Ellis has been appointed to the company's board of directors. He will join Sept. 1, replacing Steven A. Denning, who is resigning.

Ellis served in the army for 35 years, retiring as commanding general of the United States Army Forces Command in July 2004. He joined the board of directors of

DHB Industries

in early December 2004, became president in 2005, and assumed the role of CEO in July 2006. He is also on the boards of the Armed Forces Benefit Association and

SRA shares closed at $26.65, up 10 cents or 0.4%, Wednesday.
