FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Names Jonathan Krim Executive Editor Former Assistant Managing Editor for the San Jose Mercury News to lead expanded company, technology and investigative coverage

New York, November 18, 1999 -, a leading Web-based provider of financial news and commentary, announced today that Jonathan Krim is joining the publication as Executive Editor. Krim until recently was Assistant Managing Editor of the

San Jose Mercury News

, a daily newspaper with more than 350,000 readers and an international reputation for high-quality business and technology coverage.

Advertising and e-commerce revenues for the most recent quarter totaled $2.1 million, a 273% increase compared with the third quarter 1998 level of $575,000 and a 23% increase over the second quarter 1999 level of $1.7 million. So far, almost 150 companies have signed contracts to advertise on

in 1999.

Kansas said that Krim, who will supervise the day-to-day news and commentary operations, brings special expertise to help deepen its coverage of companies, technology, and investigative enterprise.
