P&G Reaffirms

It expects to make around 73 cents a share for the third quarter.

Procter & Gamble (PG) - Get Report reaffirmed fiscal third-quarter sales and earnings guidance, saying it expects to make 72 cents to 74 cents a share on sales growth of 7% to 9%.

The company said organic sales, those not related to acquisitions, will rise in line with previous guidance as well. The Cincinnati-based consumer products giant said that on May 1 it will post earnings for the quarter ending this month.
