named 18-year company veteran Alan Levin chief financial officer, replacing David Shedlarz, who was promoted along with two other executives to vice chairman.
The other executives are general counsel Jeffrey Kindler and pharmaceuticals group president Karen Katen. The three will also join CEO Hank McKinnell on a newly formed executive committee, which is supposed to set the strategic direction and operations of the company.
Katen was also named president of Pfizer Human Health, which comprises drug discovery and development, manufacturing, distribution and commercialization.
The stock was recently down 5 cents to $26.26.
