Brodeur expanded its operations in India.

The Boston-based public relations company said it joined hands with the Indian PR operations of its sister Omnicom advertising agency TBWA, giving it immediate access to resources in six Indian cities. The move "provides the springboard for Brodeur's expansion in the sub-continent, and is a key element in the agency's development strategy for the whole Asia Pacific region," Brodeur said.

The new Brodeur India, with offices in New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune and Coimbatore, joins 11 other offices across the Asia Pacific region and more than 70 other Brodeur/Pleon offices worldwide in one of the foremost global PR organizations.

Brodeur CEO Andrea Coville said that expansion in the fast-growing Indian market was key to addressing client demand in the Asia Pacific region. "Until now we have been represented by excellent agencies in India, but as our clients are shifting to take advantage of a global business environment, we wanted to make sure that they could count on a partner with an active and strong presence in India. TBWA/India PR operations were an ideal solution," she noted. "They have a six-year history of providing the high-level of service and expertise that are the hallmarks of Omnicom agencies, and they are keen to grow as a PR consultancy."

Dhrubajyoti Gayan, vice president of TBWA PR in India, has been appointed as the country head of Brodeur India and is moving to the company's Delhi office from Mumbai.
