-- U.S. stock futures were rising, suggesting Wall Street would book its third straight day of gains after growth in the U.S. was estimated to be weaker than expected, raising hopes that the

Federal Reserve

would delay plans to begin tapering its stimulus program.

European stocks were posting slight gains early Thursday. Asian shares rose. Japan's Nikkei 225 jumped 3% to close at 13,213.55.

is expected by Wall Street to report on Thursday fiscal fourth-quarter earnings of 59 cents a share on revenue of $4.6 billion.
