Time Warner's (TWX) Time Inc. cut 250 jobs Friday, mostly from the business side.

Including the latest layoffs, Time has cut more than 450 of its 12,000 jobs since December,

The Associated Press

reported. The publisher of

Sports Illustrated

has said it wants to focus more on the Internet.

In January, the company cut more than 100 editorial and other staff positions, which followed a December shakeup that cost 105 people their jobs.

Time expects the latest round of job cuts to be its last for the forseeable future, the company said.
