NEW YORK (
Coors Light beer can be bought in more than two dozen countries around the world, but the company's thirst for global dominance has not been sated.
This month, Coors Light will become available in Trinidad & Tobago, where the fourth-largest beer market in the Caribbean will get a taste of an American drink that's been around for more than a 130 years.
The dual-island nation has the highest per-capita consumption of beer in the region, according to Molson Coors.
Molson Coors is working with NWT Enterprises to distribute the drink. It can already be found in 10 countries in the Caribbean. It also has plans to bring Coors Light to Costa Rica and Curacao Bonair this year.
Molson Coors is flat in after-hours trading, but ended the trading session down 0.7% at $44.70.
, one of its key competitors, ended the day up 1.3% at $53, while
added 0.6% at $42.40.
has advanced 0.6% at $16.10.
