McKesson Ex-Chairman Acquitted

Two former McKesson (MCK) - Get McKesson Corporation Report executives were acquitted Friday of one count of federal securities fraud, the Associated Press reported.

A mistrial was declared on six other counts in a huge accounting scandal at the pharmaceutical-distribution company, AP reported.

Charles McCall, the former McKesson chairman, was charged with fabricating revenue and then trying to cover up a conspiracy to inflate profits before the company's 1999 merger with Atlanta health-services software maker HBO, AP said.
