The new American Petroleum Institute threading line is expected to be completed in the summer of 2006. The expansion of the API threading lines is the last phase of a $10.4 million capital expansion plan for 2005 and 2006.
"Demand for OCTG has increased significantly over the last year and the outlook for 2006 is very positive," said Prudential. "With the expansion of our pipe making capacity last year and the planned threading capacity increase this year, we will be well positioned to meet our customer's increasing needs for OCTG."
