) -- "Mafia arrests" is a trending search topic today after federal authorities arrested over 100 organized crime suspects on Thursday.

"This is one of the largest single-day operations against the mafia in the FBI's history," U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder said about the bust at a press conference.

Officials charged 127 suspects in New York, New Jersey and Rhode Island with murder, drug trafficking, illegal gambling, extortion, arson and other crimes.

"Google Offers" is a hot search topic today following reports that

is preparing to launch a new group buying site similar to Groupon.

Mashable

reports that a person familiar with the matter sent them information on the new venture. "Google Offers is a new product to help potential customers and clientele find great deals in their area through a daily email," the fact sheet from the source said.

The search engine giant's new site would reportedly be similar to the existing Groupon and LivingSocial sites.
