NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Altria (MO) - Get Report posted fourth-quarter net earnings that grew 26.8% to $919 million, or 44 cents a share, from $725 million, or 35 cents the year before.

Net revenue for the quarter fell 1.4% to $5.93 billion, from $6.01 billion a year ago.

Analysts, on average, called for earnings of 44 cents a share on revenue of $4.27 billion.

The stock fell 0.4% to $24.18 in premarket trading.

Bristol-Myers Squibb

(BMY) - Get Report

reported that fourth-quarter net earnings fell 94% to 483 million, or 28 cents a share, from $8.03 billion, or $4.06 a share a year ago.

Non-GAAP earnings from continuing operations was 47 cents a share.

Fourth-quarter net sales rose 2% to $5.11 billion, from $5.03 billion the year before.

On average, analysts predicted earnings of 47 cents a share on revenue of $5.05 billion.

Shares of the company fell 0.1% to $25.90.

Stanley Black & Decker

(SWK) - Get Report

said fourth-quarter normalized net earnings rose 140% to $178.5 million, or $1.05 a share, from $74.3 million, or 90 cents a year ago.

Normalized net sales for the quarter surged 149% to $2.41 billion, from $969.4 million the year before.

The Wall Street consensus called for earnings of 92 cents a share on revenue of $2.38 billion.

Shares of the company rose 2.3% to $68.49.

Caterpillar

(CAT) - Get Report

topped analysts' earnings estimates as sales skyrocketed by 62%.

Shares of the company **rose 1.7% to $97.40** in premarket trading Thursday.

AT&T

(T) - Get Report

said fourth-quarter net income fell 60.1% to $1.09 billion, or 18 cents a share, from $2.73 billion, or 46 cents a share, a year earlier.

Revenue rose 2.1% to $31.36 billion from $30.71 billion a year ago.

Excluding items, AT&T posted earnings of 55 cents a share.

The Wall Street consensus called for earnings of 54 cents a share on revenue of $31.47 billion.

Shares of

AT&T

fell 2.8% to $27.92 in premarket trading.

Procter & Gamble

(PG) - Get Report

said earnings from continuing operations in the fiscal second quarter rose 6% on volume growth.

P&G fell 2.5% to $64.44 in early trading.

Eli Lilly

(LLY) - Get Report

said fourth-quarter net income jumped 28% as higher volumes led to a revenue increase of 4%.

Shares of the company were up 0.2% to $35.04 in premarket trading Thursday.

Lockheed Martin

(LMT) - Get Report

said fourth-quarter earnings from continuing operations fell 0.8% to $829 million, or $2.30 a share, from $836 million, or $2.19 a share, a year ago.

Net sales rose 4.8% to $12.79 billion from $12.2 billion the year before.

Analysts, on average, were expecting earnings of $2.10 a share on revenue of $12.47 billion.

Premarket quotes weren't available for this stock. Shares of the company ended Wednesday's trading session down 0.9% to $78.39.

Nokia

(NOK) - Get Report

, the world's top handset maker, said fourth-quarter operating profit fell 23% to ¿884 million ($1.21 billion) from ¿1.14 billion a year earlier despite a sales increase of 6%.

Shares of Nokia fell 2.8% to $10.43 in premarket trading Thursday.

, the Anglo-Swedish drugs company, said fourth-quarter earnings fell 5% as revenue in the U.S. dropped 12%.

Shares of AstraZeneca rose 2.4% to $49.73 in early trading.

said fourth-quarter earnings fell 2% despite a 10% increase in revenue.

Novartis fell 2.7% to $56.38.

posted a profit of 87 cents a share for its fiscal fourth quarter ended in December, roughly 22% ahead of the average estimate of analysts.

Netflix surged 14.5% to $209.65.

beat the average analysts' earnings estimate for a seventh straight time in the December quarter.

Shares of the company popped 5.7% to $54.83 in early trading.
