Higer education services provider
said it entered into a partnership with
Istanbul Bilgi University
, a private university in Turkey.
Istanbul Bilgi University, a member of the European university association, the international association of universities and the OECD program on institutional management in higher education, enrolls about 9,000 students. This institution offers programs in the fields of business, communications, economics, finance, law and arts and sciences.
This transaction won't affect Laureate's 2006 and 2007 earnings outlook, the company said.
Shares of Laureate were up 24 cents, or 0.45%, at $53.19 Wednesday.
