The casino operator lost $87.7 million, compared with a $11.2 million, or a 3 cents a share loss a year ago. Excluding one-time items, the casino operator would have earned 1 cent a share.
Share traded up 36 cents after hours, to $11.70.
Revenue totaled $1.08 billion. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters were expecting a loss of 2 cents on revenue of $1.06 billion.
