The deal includes only the Epcos AG tantalum capacitor manufacturing operation in Evora, Portugal and not its manufacturing facility in Heidenheim, Germany.
Under the manufacturing and supply agreement between Kemet and Epcos, Heidenheim facility will ensure a continuous product supply to Kemet during the transition period.
Once the transition is completed in September, Kemet will purchase the Heidenheim manufacturing assets.
Kemet announced the acquisition last December.
