according to a person with knowledge of the hire.
Anmuth, who spent about eight years as a Lehman Brothers analyst, joined Barclays after the British bank acquired Lehman's U.S. assets following its bankruptcy filing. He will report to Noelle Grainger, head of research for the Americas. A call to Grainger was not immediately returned and Anmuth could not be reached. Barclays declined comment through a spokesman.
Anmuth will replace Imran Khan, who recently joined
Credit Suisse
