NEW YORK (
has named Zili Shao as the new CEO of its China operation.
He is currently Asia managing partner for the Linklaters, an international law firm. He will join JPMorgan China in January.
Shao succeeds Charles Li, who left JPMorgan China in the spring to join Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing, the operator of the Hong Kong stock exchange.
Shao will lead JPMorgan's efforts in China in the areas of treasury services, securities services, investment banking and asset management.
