The jam maker said it will make the buybacks under a preplanned Rule 10b5-1 trading plan. The Orrville, Ohio-based company said that the shares to be repurchased would be part of the shares repurchase authorization approved by the company's board of directors in January 2006 to buy back up to 2 million of its common shares.
