The carrier said preliminary revenue per available seat mile increased 17% from the same month a year earlier. Load factor was 81.3%, an increase of two points. Revenue passenger miles grew by 9.1%, even though capacity as measured by available seat miles grew only 6.4%.
have reported the industry's best March results. United reported a passenger revenue per available seat mile gain between 21.5% and 23.5%, while Southwest reported a PRASM gain around 22%.
