said company's president Craig Martin has been promoted to the additional position of Chief Executive Officer effective April 3, 2006.
Martin has over 30 years of experience in the technical professional services business, it said. He joined Jacobs in 1994 as the result of an acquisition, where he served as senior vice president, operations. Prior to becoming its president in 2002, he was company's executive vice president, global sales.
Noel Watson, currently chairman and CEO, will continue to serve as executive chairman of the company.
"It is the perfect time to transfer the leadership of the company to Craig, who has successfully driven the organization over the past 3 1/2 years," the company said. "Fiscal year 2006 is off to a great start, we are prospect rich, and I'm absolutely confident the business will continue to flourish."
