The Pasadena, Calif.-based company said that one contract was for engineering services related to upgrading Bayernoil's German refineries under a major restructuring program. A second contract from the same company was for providing Jacob's proprietory sulphur recovery and low temperature technology for a new process at Bayernoil's Neustadt refinery. This will enable Bayernoil to comply with new national and EU regulations relating to sulphur emissions, the company said.
Details of neither contract were disclosed.
In a separate announcement, Jacobs said that a subsidiary received a construction management services contract from GSA of national capital region. This contract is for the modernization of Mary E. Switzer building in Washington, D.C., involving an estimated amount of $90 million.
Shares of the company were trading down 79 cents, or 1%, at $81.20 Tuesday.
