said its board approved a 3-for-1 split of its American depositary shares.
As a result, one ADS will now equal one ordinary share. The old ratio was 3-to-1.
The split will be effective Feb. 7. Trading at the split-adjusted price will start Feb. 8, the company said.
American depositary shares of JA Solar, a China-based maker of solar cells, were recently down 0.9% at $71.23.
