MUMBAI -- Indian stocks fell Friday, with the BSE Sensex losing 14.19 points, or 0.1%, to close at 12,709.40.

The losers on the index were

off 1.70%.

Reliance Energy

led the winners, rising 1.64%.

Tata Steel

was up 1.23% and

Bharti Airtel

added 1.13%.

Dena Bank

rose 1.55% after it reported 41.3% rise in its earnings for the quarter ended September.
