Verizon (VZ) - Get Report announced that it will offer some customers a free year of Disney+, Disney's (DIS) - Get Report new streaming service, in a boost for the nascent platform. 

How to Get Disney+ for Free

Customers with the telecom carrier's Unlimited plans, or with new Fios Home of 5G Home internet service accounts will receive a complimentary 12 months of Disney+ starting Tuesday, the service's launch date. 

Verizon customers interested in the offer must sign up before June 1, 2020, to cash in on the offer. For qualified Verizon customers who already prepurchased their Disney+ subscriptions, the company's offer will be put on hold for a year. After the year, the Disney+ subscription will commence. 

What if I Am Not a Verizon Customer?

Disney+ costs $6.99 a month but if you join with an annual subscription you will save 16% for only $69.99. Nice!
