has reached a pact to sell its supply unit to three private-equity firms for north of $10 billion, according to a published report.

, citing people familiar with the sale, said Bain Capital, Carlyle Group and Clayton Dubilier & Rice will buy the supply operation.
The deal could be announced later Tuesday, the report said. Shares of Home Depot were up 15 cents at $38.11 in early trading.
