Revenue rises 13% excluding Star Wars.

Hasbro (HAS) - Get Report beat third-quarter targets.

The Pawtucket, R.I., toymaker made $100 million, or 58 cents a share, for the quarter ended Oct. 1, up from the year-ago $92 million, or 47 cents a share. Sales rose to $1.04 billion from $988 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Thomson Financial were looking for a 50-cent profit on sales of $963 million.

Revenue rose 5% from a year ago and 13% excluding Star Wars toys.
