NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- In celebration of Monopoly’s 80th anniversary, Hasbro (HAS) - Get Report is asking fans all over the world to choose which great cities will be featured as property spaces in new Monopoly Here & Now games to be released this fall.

Hasbro has teamed up with BuzzFeed to poll fans beginning today at Through March 4, fans can pick from a list of global destinations that will be featured in the Monopoly Here & Now: World Edition game to be sold globally, as well as top American cities for the Monopoly Here & Now: U.S. Edition game to be sold only in the U.S.

Some of the U.S. cities up for vote are New York, Las Vegas, Chicago and Los Angeles while some of the global cities up for vote include Hong Kong, Beijing, London, Venice and Cape Town.

During "Wild Card Week" from March 3 to March 9, fans can submit additional locations not included in the initial list of destinations. The cities with the most submissions during this week will be featured as the two brown property spaces in the World and U.S. editions of the game.

“This innovative campaign demonstrates how we continue to keep the Monopoly brand relevant by empowering our fans to help create today’s game,” said Jonathan Berkowitz, vice president of global marketing for gaming at Hasbro.

The Monopoly Here & Now campaign is the latest in a series of fan-sourced Monopoly campaigns, following the "Save Your Token" vote in 2013 and "House Rules" vote in 2014, both of which made waves in the community and received massive global support.

Hasbro and BuzzFeed will announce the final list of cities to be included in the Monopoly Here & Now games on the official birthday of the brand and World Monopoly Day on March 19th.

Fans of Monopoly can purchase the new games this fall, which will feature iconic landmark tokens and new gameplay. Players race round the board to visit as many locations as possible, collecting passport stamps along the way. Players collect cash from visitor fees when opponents land on their locations and the first player to fill their passport wins.

Earlier this year, Hasbro introduced an 80th Anniversary Edition game to celebrate its long history. It features a vintage-style board and one iconic token from each of Monopoly's eight decades.
