said Monday it acquired the Santiago, Chile-based Moldajes y Andamios, a supplier of rental formwork and scaffolding and related services, for an undisclosed sum.

Harsco said the acquisition, which is expected to be accretive to its 2007 earnings, will give it a solid foothold for growing its access services segment presence in the Chilean and Latin American markets.

''We look to apply Harsco's significant know-how and resources and build on the more than $1 billion in worldwide sales we expect from our Access Services segment this year,'' the Camp Hill, Pa.-based company said.

MyATH, with an annual revenue of about $8 million, employs about 100 people, the company added.
