Harman International Industries


, a manufacturer of high-fidelity audio products and electronic systems, said Friday that it began a tender offer for any and all of its outstanding 7.125% notes due 2007 and 7.32% senior notes due 2007. The tender offer consists of a separate offer for each series of notes.

The company will conduct each offer in accordance with an offer to purchase and accompanying letter of transmittal, each dated June 9. Both the offers will expire June 21, unless extended or earlier terminated as more fully described in the offer to purchase.
