The Milwaukee-based company said that this new factory will not affect its U.S. operations.
"Asia Pacific is a growth market for Harley-Davidson because of its expanding economy, growing middle class, positive consumer spending trends and increasing market demand for larger motorcycle sales," a spokesman for the company said, according to Fox News.
Harley-Davidson shares were up 0.5% in afternoon trading Tuesday.
