Goldman Sachs Group (GS) - Get Report plans to detail how it plans to turn around its bond-trading unit amid investor pushback against one of Wall Street's most storied banks, sources told Reuters.

The move would be a deviation from the bank's normally clandestine activities.

Bond-trading has traditionally been the bank's bread and butter, but the bank reported a 40% decline in second quarter bond-trading revenue last month.

Goldman traditionally does not provide targets or forecasts and discloses little compared to its banking peers, which has led to increased investor frustration as the firm's fortunes have turned.
