(MCD) - Get Report

reported a 5.7% jump in February same-store sales, with particularly strong gains from its restaurants overseas.

In the U.S., same-store sales climbed 3.1%. The company said customers continued to flock to its breakfast and late-night menu selections, and the launch of its new grilled and honey-mustard "Snack Wrap" helped results.

Across the Atlantic, same-store sales rose 5.9% in Europe. McDonald's said it had positive results in nearly every market, with France and Germany benefiting from seasonal menus.

Meanwhile, same-store sales surged 12.3% in the Asia/Pacific, Middle East and Africa regions. The company said results were led by a strong performance in Japan and China, reflecting a benefit from the Chinese New Year during the month.
