will recall about 430,000 Mustangs dating back to 1994 because of problems with the parking brake.
The company will recall 1994 to 2001 model year Mustangs with manual transmissions. Ford said the brake could sometimes slip, causing the car to move. There have been no reports of accidents due to the brake problem.
Last week, Ford announced the recall of more than 700,000 F-series pickup trucks because of a fuel-line problem. In
October, a California judge ordered a recall of about 1.7 million Ford vehicles in that state.
