received a $999 million contract from Abu Dhabi Gas Industries to provide engineering, procurement and construction services for the Habshan Gas Complex Expansion project.
The expansion includes the installation of two sulphur recovery units with a total capacity of 1,600 tons a day and a new acid gas enrichment unit.
The Aliso Viejo, Calif., engineering and maintenance company said Monday that its Camberley, U.K., office will perform the work for the project, which is estimated to be completed in 32 months. The Habshan plant was originally designed and built by Fluor in 1984.
Shares of Fluor were down 65 cents, or 1%, at $62.95.
