The Dallas-based company said Jojo will have responsibility for all aspects of the information systems organization, including infrastructure, security, data center operations, architecture and applications development. Jojo also will lead the information technology plans and implementation for Flowserve's three divisions.

Jojo, 39, worked at

General Electric

for 13 years. She most recently was chief information officer for GE Silicones.

"She brings the combination of large-company experience, change management and performance improvement required to drive Flowserve to the next level of excellence."

Flowserve shares were flat early Tuesday at $23.58.
