The Federal Communications Commission said today that it voted 2-1 to substantially ease the regulatory requirements in the $45 billion business data services market, Reuters reports.
The decision is a win for AT&T (T) - Get AT&T Inc. Report, CenturyLink (CTL) - Get CenturyLink, Inc. Report, Verizon Communications (VZ) - Get Verizon Communications Inc. Report and others, the report said. However, the ruling could lead to price increases for small businesses.
