Shares of seemingly all-powerful stock group FANG, the acronym representing Facebook (FB) - Get Report , Amazon (AMZN) - Get Report , Netflix (NFLX) - Get Report , and Alphabet (GOOGL) - Get Report , sunk during Monday's session, and the declines come just ahead of key earnings releases.

The group declined 1.7% Monday for a fifth straight session of losses. That represents the most extended sessions of losses since before the November election, according to data obtained by Bloomberg.

The same data indicates that analysts are slashing estimates for the largest tech companies while conversely hiking their outlook for the rest of the market.

On deck for earnings are Amazon and Alphabet which both report quarterly results on Thursday.
